Release 2026.25

Summary

Release 2026.25 introduces major automation enhancements for TaskCollect, helping customers reduce manual effort across remittance processing, promise creation, cash application and credit monitoring. This release also improves visibility of completed collection activity, gives users more control over email tasks, expands configuration options, and resolves issues that could interrupt automated collection processes.

New Features

  • AI-powered remittance advice processing: TaskCollect can now capture remittance advice emails, process PDF attachments using AI, extract remittance data and use it to create Promises to Pay where matching invoices are found.

  • Remittance Resolution Workbench: Unmatched remittance items can now be reviewed in a dedicated workbench, where users can search for the correct customer, view the supporting document and manually create promises against open invoices.

  • Automated cash application: TaskCollect can compare Promises to Pay with incoming bank feed transactions and automatically create Customer Payments when a match is identified. Customers can configure which bank accounts are included in this process.

  • Dun & Bradstreet credit monitoring: New credit monitoring capabilities have been introduced, including usage tracking for account and customer-level credit agency reporting.

  • Credit agency unlinking: A new unlink process allows customers to remove a customer from credit monitoring, clear linked credit agency fields and remove the related monitoring portfolio connection.

  • Completed tasks on the customer record: Completed TaskCollect tasks, including memo notes and related invoice or clip information, can now be viewed from the customer record, ordered with the most recent completed activity first.

Improvements to existing features

  • No Response Required for received emails: Users can now acknowledge received emails from the Task Workbench when no reply is needed, removing them from the workbench and helping keep task queues focused.

  • More flexible email templates: Collection Team details are now available for use in email template objects, giving customers more options when personalising automated communications.

  • Additional fields on promise and dispute grids: Customers can now select extra invoice fields, including custom transaction body fields and standard NetSuite fields such as Memo, to display on Promise to Pay and Dispute invoice grids.

  • Task Workbench performance: Performance improvements have been made to the main Task Workbench screen to support a smoother user experience.

  • Separate add-on module control: Credit Agency and Remittance Automation functionality now supports separate licensing and feature flagging, allowing customers to enable the modules relevant to their setup.

  • Implementation and reporting support: Updates include custom TaskCollect implementation roles, new help guidance for invoice due date transition versus invoice date, and improvements to the BI dashboard setup process for new customers.

Bug fixes

  • Empty clips no longer processed unnecessarily: Fixed an issue where empty clips could be picked up by processing routines.

  • Automated emails now handle missing sender email addresses safely: Additional validation has been added so automated emails do not fail unexpectedly when a Collection Rep or Collection Team does not have an email address configured. The process now prevents invalid setup and helps avoid clip progression issues.
